Birds of Tiruvannamalai district: An introductory field guide
This book is our attempt towards creating a resource for people to learn more about the birds of the region, and about birds in general. We have covered the identification, behaviour and ecology of 254 species of birds, along with photographs and illustrations, entirely written in the local language Tamil! The book also has interesting information on local names and ecosystems in addition to details about the birds. We hope this book helps spread the joy for birds in Tiruvannamalai and Tamil Nadu.
